U.S. STATE STUDIES

| Welcome to our study of the United States. During this study, you will be required to tour the eight regions of the United States. During this trip, you will find fun and exctiting things to do in each region, stay in hotels, eat, and keep track of how much you spend. The goal is to spend at least one night in each of the eight regions, learn lots about that area,, and then return to Ashland at the end of 16 days with under $100 dollars. Use the sites below to help you plan your trip, and answer questions about each state. Good luck!!! |

Need a car for the trip? Try these sites...
Of course, there is also the EPA's Green Car Guide. This is the best for finding MPG.
Edmund's Car Guide. To use this site, click on the link, scroll down and select a "make" of car. Then select a "model". From there, click on "style" and then the "review and specs" tab. This will show you details about that car, including miles per gallon.
Other good sites for cars can be found at Cars Direct and Kellly Blue Book. They have a list fuel efficient cars.
