Welcome to our study of explorers, exploration and the "discovery" of the New World. This unit will study the explorers of the late 1400s and early 1500s, as well as the impact that exploration had on the indigenous people of the Americas. During this unit students will work together to study what the explorers faced in their journeys, and also what the native peoples experienced during the same time period.
