Hi are names are Max+Ian we are doing a project on the O.S.F(oregon shakepeare fetivel.) and thats all for the intro. Now on with the project.
1. It started out 65 years ago in Ashland Oregon when Angus Bowmer, a teacher at what is now Southern Oregon University decided to create American's first authentic Elizabethan theatre since then OSF has gone on to become the second largest repertory theatre in the world.
2.There are 450 professional actors dancers musicians directors and support staff who work to put on an eight moth season (February through October) featuring 11 plays presented on three separate stages, six days a week.
3.Over 350,000 theatergoers a year migrate from around the world to partake in this most succulent of artistic feasts and they are seldom if ever disappointed. 4."Our family has come to Ashland for a week of play watching every year since 1995 says Dylan Myer a father of two from Seattle, Washington the quality of the acting is always superb and the productions are visually stunning. When we went on our interview we went all over the O.S.F we went to the new theater the bowmer theater and we went to the Elizabethan theater we went to the control both in the outside theater and here is some info we found
1. While a play is going on in the Bowmer theater if somebody wants to call the control both the control both they turn this switch on so instead of the phone ringing a red light flashes in the control both on the ceiling
2.While a play is going on in the new theater so the actors can see they Line up blue lights behind the stage so the actors can see
3.While the actors are rehearsing they use this stuff called spike tape to tell where the backstage is and all the other things are
4.The the first plays where written about 1,000 years ago.
