Recipe of "MAMALIGA"
1 l water
1 teaspoon salt
500 g corn
200 g cheese
1 onion
100 g sausages
150 g sour-cream
You bait the water, then add the corn and the salt. You keep on mixing it until the corn is cooked and has the aspect of a pudding. When it is ready, you add the cheese, the sausages (chopped in small pieces) and the onion. The melted cheese, the sausage and the onion give the corn a special flavour. Serve it hot with a sour-cream sauce.
